IMPORTANT
Please Note:
1. The sanctioned posts will
be filled in phase manner.
2. The number of posts may be
increased or decreased.
3. University reserves the
right to fill the posts either by Direct Recruitment or Deputation.
4. Possession of mere
eligibility conditions will not entitle a person for consideration of the
Selection Committee/ Screening Committee to short list the candidates from
amongst the total number of applications received. The University reserves the
right not to fill up the posts and its decision in this regard shall be final.
5. The University reserves to
change / cancel any date, information, condition etc. without assigning any
reason.
6. Separate applications are
to be filled for separate posts.
7. Candidates who are already
in service should route their application through their employer. They may
submit an advance copy of application. However, the same would be considered
only on receipt of the application duly forwarded by the employer. They should
also give “Remarks of their Employer” in format given at the end of the
application form. No interim enquiries / correspondence of any sort will be
entertained on the matter.
8. Canvassing in any form
and/or attempt to bring influence or pressure, political or otherwise will be
treated as disqualification.
9.
Applications which are incomplete or not accompanied by relevant certificate
etc. will be summarily rejected. The university reserves the right to reject any
application without assigning any reason.
10. Government of India / UGC’s
guidelines regarding implementation of the reservation policy for teaching /
non-teaching posts will be followed.
11. It must be
noted that as per the provisions u/s 44(b) of the Central Universites Act 2009,
the first Registrar and first Finance Officer are to be appointed by the Visitor
and each of the said officers shall hold office for a term of three years. On
conclusion of the selection process and interview, the Selection Committee will,
therefore, forward the names of the short-listed candidates to the Visitor
through HRD.
12. The age
limit may be relaxed upto 45 years for state and central goverment employees and
those working in goverment recognised institutions and appying for the
non-teaching posts at Sr.No. 5 to 16.

The age limit may be relaxed upto 59
years for the administrative posts at Sr. No. 1 to 3 (Registrar, Finance Officer
and Controller of Examinations).
14. For the post of
Finance Officer, besides Deputation, others can also apply.
For Teaching Positions:
- Professor / Associate
Professor working in university/colleges in the relevant disciplines may also
be considered for appointment in their respective rank on standard terms of
deputation for a period of one/two year, provided they fulfill the minimum
qualifications prescribed by UGC and their application is routed through their
employer. Apart from their parent institution deputation allowance as per the
Govt. of India rules will be paid.
- Retired Professor/Associate
Professor up to the age of 65 years in the relevant subject may also apply.
Such candidates if selected shall be paid full pay admissible to their
respective rank at the minimum basic pay prescribed as per the Central
Government rules applicable.
- Those who are interested in
working as a guest faculty or on contract basis may indicate so in their
application specifying the course and the particular module/unit.
